University of Wyoming Athletic Director Tom Burman said he wanted to bring a toughness back to the Cowboy football program when he went on a search for a new coach. Burman got the man he was looking for, as North Dakota State head coach Craig Bohl was named the 32nd football coach at Wyoming. Bohl’s teams have won the last two FCS national championships, and are gunning for a third straight this season. In 11 seasons at NDSU, Bohl was 101-32, directing the Bison to the FCS playoffs the last four seasons. Bohl seems like a high character guy, as he was very emotional when talking about his program in Fargo, and Burman says that high character trait was another reason he was looking at Bohl.
